Porcelain
Ceramic tile has long been a go-to material in homes due to its durability and simple maintenance requirements. Available in numerous finishes and colors, ceramic tiles can mimic natural materials like wood, marble, travertine and slate for an authentic look in any room. There are various ways of laying ceramic tiles including herringbone, diagonal, basket weave or brick patterns and arrangements allowing you to give any space its own unique touch.
Porcelain tiles are created from refined clays that have been compressed under high pressure before being fired in a kiln. As a result, they are harder and less porous than regular ceramic tile, as well as being more resilient against wear and tear than other varieties of tiles. Furthermore, porcelain can also be glazed to add colorful designs or patterns for additional style points.
Porcelain and ceramic tiles both utilize a mix of raw materials, including silica sands and clays, but porcelain typically contains higher proportions of quartz and feldspar for denser bodies and finer, more crystalline glazes that offer greater design versatility.
Most porcelain tiles are glazed, which allows for decorative customization using underglaze pigments or overglaze enamels to create patterns or colors of their choosing. After decoration is complete, the glaze is fired again in a kiln to seal its surface from moisture penetration and protect its integrity. Depending on their manufacturer, some porcelain tiles may also be biscuit fired (at lower temperatures) before being glazed at higher temperatures to vitrify both body and glaze and create vitrification between body and glaze.
Glass
Glass tile is an exquisite material that brings instant sophistication into kitchen backsplashes, baths, and living areas. Available in an array of colors and patterns that fit any aesthetic imaginable, backsplash glass tile requires little care or maintenance – an ideal option for both busy families and homeowners alike!
Glass tiles provide a highly reflective surface that reflects light around a room, creating an eye-catching backdrop for any color or design scheme. Due to being non-porous, they’re resistant to watermarks, stains, mold growth and cleaning is easy–especially important in environments with high moisture such as bathrooms and kitchens.
Many people mistakenly assume that glass tiles only come in clear and shiny finishes; however, there are numerous styles to fit any taste or decor style available to you. From opalescent with reflective backing to opaque or sandblasted for an aged appearance – glass comes in all shapes and sizes to perfectly fill any space!
Environmentally conscious customers will love our selection of recycled glass tiles. From herringbone mosaics to basketweave styles, these unique tiles help make greening your home simple without compromising design or quality. Made from shards of glass formed into consistent shapes for stunning backsplash or accent wall applications.

Luxury Vinyl Tile
Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) offers an economical yet resilient alternative to ceramic or stone tile for those seeking to upgrade their home without incurring the expense associated with natural stones or wood flooring. LVT features multiple layers of pressed vinyl with photo layers that create realistic impressions, sealed and protected to withstand regular household activity and daily wear and tear.
LVT comes in various styles, colors and patterns that suit any room or application. Some feature cork or felt backing to absorb impact and cushion the floor while others can be glued down for heavy traffic areas (as long as their sub-floor is smooth). With technological advances over time, LVT and engineered vinyl planks don’t necessarily need to replace existing surfaces completely; rather they can simply cover over them seamlessly!
Some products are labeled 100% waterproof or water resistant, making them an ideal option for kitchen and bathroom environments without compromising aesthetics. Furthermore, they’re far more cost-effective than hardwood or high-end carpet options.
Installing LVT without grout can save time and money on cleaning costs while simultaneously increasing resale value when selling your home. Aesthetically speaking, LVT looks very similar to hardwood flooring while withstanding moisture damage and the wear-and-tear of daily usage well.
